Category: FlipCounter FAQ

FlipCounter doesn't provide backward counting. Please refer to FlipCounter Plus, featuring 2 backward counters and many other professional features!

Yes, it's normal. The small internal speaker of the 1st Generation iPod Touch is not intended to be used to play sound and music. It's usage is exclusively reserved to System Applications preloaded by Apple. In order to hear FlipCounter's sound effects we suggest you to connect the headphones.

FlipCounter has been tested with iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G with Software Version 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2. If you don't hear any sound make sure to check that:

  • The Sound Effect switch, in the Settings screen of FlipCounter, is turned on (Sound Effects Activated).
  • The global Sound Effects of your iPhone are active and that the main volume is not too low.

In case you keep having not sound in FlipCounter it could be useful to:

  • Try to uninstall and reinstall FlipCounter in your iPhone
  • Check if the software version of your iPhone is 2.0 or greater

If nothing of the above works please contact us and report the detailed problem, we will check and get back to you as soon as possible.
